Float Glass

Overview

Clear Float glass is the most commonly used glass product.

The name Float Glass comes from the processing method of floating molten glass on a bed of molten metal, typically tin.

Float glass can have a pale green tint that can add to the appearance of the glass in thicker panels. However, due to this tint, we do not recommend Float Glass when incorporating colour into your design.

Float glass is a popular choice for partitioning, flooring and balustrade.
